CHAPTER HOTELS EXETER | 1 November 2011 We have reached a important milestone on site this week as the team remove the temporary roof structure to reveal the new third floor. The scaffolding which has been in place since the beginning of the works is slowly being dismantled to reveal the freshly sandblasted facade of the hotel. There is still plenty of activity underway inside and work also continues to the rear of the hotel including some initial landscaping. If you have any questions about the work our Communications Team will be delighted to help. You can contact them on 0330 333 8183. CHAPTER HOTELS EXETER | 16 March 2011 Work is now well underway on the refurbishment of our hotel The Chapter Hotel Exeter. All preparatory works have been completed and scaffolding has been erected around the building. This is in preparation for the next phase of the work which will be the construction of a new roof. We will also be starting work on the spa building located to the rear of the hotel. Our contractors for this project are Kier Western (www.kier.co.uk). Kier is an associate member of the Considerate Constructors’ Scheme and is dedicated to improving the image of construction. We will be working closely with them to ensure that we minimise the impact of works to our neighbours and the surrounding area. Working hours will be Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm, and Saturdays 8am to 1pm. The project will take approximately 15 months to complete and we anticipate that the hotel will reopen in Spring 2012. We will be posting regular updates so please do check back to find out how work is progressing. If you have any questions about the work our Communications Team will be delighted to help.
